Todays Dental is a dental corporate, set up for the purpose of acquiring dental practices across England and Wales. It was established in 2021 to acquire an initial platform of eight practices from Simply Health, a large medical insurance provider; the transaction completed in April 2022. Alongside this initial platform, Todays Dental has a strong pipeline of potential acquisitions.
The business is headquartered in Taunton and led by Rob Paxman. Rob and his team has significant sector experience having worked within the larger dental corporates and between them have acquired over 250 dental practices in their previous roles. The team also has extensive experience in driving operational improvement across practices that they have been involved with. Todays Dental’s strategy is centred around acquiring additional practices over the next c. five years to grow the current platform of eight up to c. 50. This roll-up will be supplemented by a range of operational efficiency initiatives across the estate to drive both revenue and margin improvement.
