Overview

Simmons is renowned for its relaxed house party atmosphere, appealing primarily to 18-27 year old professionals and students. Its offering is aimed at the value end of the market, selling 2 cocktails for £10 during its extended happy hours. Simmons began as a single bar in King’s Cross in 2012 and, at acquisition, it had 12 sites across central London.

Simmons is led by entrepreneur Nick Campbell, who started working with the business in 2012. Nick has over ten years’ experience running bars and nightclubs. With Lonsdale’s support, the Company intends to continue adding further sites across London, with the aim of expanding to over 20 bars in the short to medium term before looking at opportunities outside the capital.

Roy Ellis joined as Chairman upon completion. Roy has a wealth of experience in the multi-site leisure sector, most notably he previously founded and led the Revolution bar chain.
