The team comprises three Partners - Alan Dargan, Ross Finegan and David Gasparro - a team with complementary skill sets. What distinguishes the team is the level of experience.

All of the Partners have operated at Board or Mangement Committee level over a number of years. Moreover, all the Partners have an investing background, whether through our direct experience in private equity or through investing in public markets. We have an extensive network across our target region which assists us in all aspects of deal sourcing and execution. We believe our combined skill set helps management teams take their businesses to new levels and turns smaller businesses into medium sized, market leading operations. In addition to our shared excitement for the small end of the private equity market the Partners have come together as Lonsdale Capital Partners with a background of having known each other for many years. We only invest by consensus and do not make an investment in situations where one of the Partners does not fully support the deal.

Alan Dargan

30 years experience on Wall Street and City of London.
Managing Director in investment banking at both Credit Suisse First Boston and Swiss Bank Corporation (now UBS), where he ran a number of investment banking sectors. He advised industrial groups and governments on major restructurings in Europe and around the world.
Founded Lansdowne Capital as a corporate finance advisory firm in 1997 and started investing in 2000, since when he has had a successful investment record.
Trained as an economist and chartered accountant.

Ross Finegan

Investment on own account - set up in 2006 to invest in leveraged MBOs.
JP Morgan Partners, formerly Chase Capital Partners (1996 to 2005) where he completed many deals in a wide variety of sectors in both the UK and Europe.
Deloitte Corporate Finance (1994 to 1996), where he advised management teams on buying their businesses.
Trained as a chartered accountant in PWC (1990 to 1994).

David Gasparro

Head of Distribution for Threadneedle Asset Management (2003 to 2009). In charge of the wholesale, institutional and hedge fund businesses globally. Member of the Management Committee. Integral member of the team developing strategy and growing the business internationally.
Chief Investment Officer for Schroders mutual fund business (1999 to 2002). Member of the Management Committee and part of team developing the international retail and wholesale business.
Head of Investment Strategy, Schroder Investment Management (1996 to 1999).
