What We Do

Lonsdale Capital Partners operates exclusively at the smaller end of the private equity market. We generally look to buy and build companies with an enterprise value of £10m to £50m. Our focus is the UK and Northern Europe. We make investments in a wide variety of sectors, in companies that are cash generative and where the business model is clear. Our passion is to help good quality businesses and management teams grow their franchises, providing the finance and expertise to reach their full potential. We look to take majority stakes in the companies in which we invest.

Our Values

For us adding value is all about partnership. Our main interest is to use our experience to work with management teams and to use our skills to help grow their businesses. These skills have come from our own experiences running companies over the last twenty years. We are long term investors, whose aim is to understand and be hands on with the businesses where we invest.

Where We Are Different

All of us have operated at a senior level, across a broad range of companies and sectors. This gives us a depth of experience in the team. Moreover, our backgrounds range from pure private equity, to global advisory, to senior management in a global asset manager. This gives us a breadth of experience, investing in and growing companies, developing management and knowing how and when to exit.
